Fring mobile client

fring provides a SIP client for Windows mobile devices and it can be downloaded from http://www.fring.com/download.
In order to make your Windows Mobile device to communicate with pbxnsip PBX, please follow the below steps. Note: You need to have the wi-fi enabled and working on your mobile device. The pictures shown below are of TMobile Dash.
- Download fring for Windows Mobile and install on your WM device
Please refer to http://www.fring.com/support/user_guide/fring_user_manual_Windows_Mobile_324.pdf for the details on how to install and configure fring client for Windows mobile.
- Start fring application
- Select Menu->Settings->Manage Communities
- Select SIP. You will be presented with a list of SIP services.
- Select "Other"
- Now configure your SIP account. This account should be already created on the pbxnsip server. Provide the user name, password for the account. For the "Proxy address", provide your pbxnsip server.
- Click "OK". This should register your fring application with the PBX
At this point your mobile device will act like any other registered SIP device. To make SIP calls, press "Menu->Call->SIP Call" and enter the number you want to dial.
