Netborder Express Gateway, from Sangoma Technologies Corporation, is an open, software based VoIP gateway product that provides a comprehensive and highly flexible bridge between the traditional telephony and the IP based platforms.

The following interoperability testing was done using Sangoma's a 4 port A200 FXO/FXS board on a Windows 2003 R2 (Standard Edition) server and the pbxnsip Inc's IP-PBX running on a CS410. Note that you can also run the IP-PBX even on a Windows based PC.

For more information on the A200 please refer Sangoma Manuals

Prerequisite

The A200 PCI board has to be properly installed and the PSTN lines have to be connected to the back of the board.

Trunk Configuration On PBX

The configuration on the PBX is very simple. Since Netborder Express Gateway will act as SIP gateway to the PBX, all we have to do is create a trunk on the PBX and apply the proper settings. Here is a sample, but working, configuration.

Now all you have to do is create a dial plan entry and assign this newly created trunk. Pickup the phone and dial the pattern you just entered in the dial plan. Your call is now going to the PSTN over the Sangoma A200!
